After a decade of working in the event industry, we saw how generic most photo booths were. The same backdrops, props, and designs left planners and hosts without any truly creative options. That’s why we set out to deliver a photo booth that lets guests relive the quirky magic of a retro photo session. Our studio-style booth invites guests to relive the nostalgia of the past while making fun new memories with their friends and families.

Our founder, Olivia, based the idea for our business off of her creative side project on Instagram which was inspired by a 90s yearbook she’d found in a thrift shop. She would sketch people from the book and match them with a song that fit their vibe… and the videos went viral. The big hair, the shoulder pads, and the awkward poses found their way into the hearts of millions of viewers. Something about these retro photos really captured peoples’ hearts and brought them back to a simpler time. That’s how the idea was born. Olivia took the same inspiration and adapted it to bring the magic of nostalgic portrait photography to special events.
